Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

Key study, following U.S. EPA Draft Medaka Multigenerational Test Guideline, the OECD Draft Guideline Fish Two-generation Test and JMOE Annex 6.2 The Medaka (Oryzias latipes) Full Life-Cycle Test Guideline, GLP:

The study was not performed at a concentration high enough to be able to define a genuine NOEC as the maximum concentration test was 9 µg/L :

35d-NOEC (Oryzias latipes) = 9.0 µg a.i./L (based on F0 generation reproduction data and on nominal concentrations further to analytical confirmation that concentrations remained within + or - 20% of the nominals)

58d-NOEC (Oryzias latipes) = 9.0 µg a.i./L (based on F1 generation, all endpoints data and on nominal concentrations further to analytical confirmation that concentrations remained within + or - 20% of the nominals)

69d-NOEC (Oryzias latipes) = 9.0 µg a.i./L (based on F2 generation, all endpoints data and on nominal concentrations further to analytical confirmation that concentrations remained within + or - 20% of the nominals)
