Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

From the water surface, the substance will slowly evaporate into the atmosphere. Due to the ionic structure it is expected that the calculation overestimates the volatilisation into air.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

The Henry’s Law Constant of 1.79 Pa * m3/mol at 25 °C is calculated within the EPI Suite v3.20 program by use of the Bond Estimation Method (BASF AG 2007). EPIWin v3.20 also has an experimental database match with 3.6 Pa * m3/mol, however the source of this value can not be determined. A data compilation of Yaws 2001 resulted in a HLC of 1.9 Pa * m3/mol.
