Guideline:
other: not specified
Principles of method if other than guideline:
The dust explosibility and the lower explosion limit (LEL) were measured in a closed
apparatus (20 l-sphere) with two pyrotechnic igniters of the total energy of 2 kJ (2  1000 J) as
ignition source according to VDI 2263-1 (EN 14034-3).

Results and discussion

Any other information on results incl. tables

The test in the closed apparatus (20 l-sphere) showed pressure rises pm > 0.2 bar. The dust has to
be classified as a combustible dust. The lower explosion limit was determined to be LEL = 30 g/m³.

Applicant's summary and conclusion
