Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

Hazard to soil organisms and PNEC screen are derived from aquatic toxicity data using the equilibrium partitioning method.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

The available experimental data is not suitable for the derivation of appropriate threshold values for the soil compartment. The substance falls into soil hazard category 1 according to the scheme given in ECHA guidance R.7c (Table R.7.11-2). A PNEC screen is derived from the aquatic toxicity data and the risk assessment is conducted by comparing the predicted environmental concentrations in the soil to this PNEC screen. Further testing on the toxicity of the substance to soil organisms is not required as all RCRs are less than 1 indicating adequate control of potential risks under the conditions of use.
