Additional information

The study with Pseudomonas putida of Huels (1995b) was used as key study for PNEC derivation. The 16h test was conducted according DIN 38412 and GLP. The static test was performed at pH 7 and 22°C. The nominal test concentrations used were 0, 1000, 2000, 4000, 6000, 8000, and 10000 mg/L. These concentrations were not verified with analytical measurements. The result of the 16-h cell growth inhibition test was an EC10 of 7400 mg/L and an extrapolated EC50 of 25619 mg/L (only 18.9% inhibition at highest test concentration).
