Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Temp.:
other: 25.0°C
Parameter:
kinematic viscosity (in mm²/s)
Value:
3.5
Conclusions:
The kinematic viscosity of pure 1,3,5-trimethylhexahydro-1,3,5-triazine was 3.7mm2.s−1 at 20˚C and 3.5mm2.s−1 at 25˚C.
Executive summary:

The kinematic viscosity of pure 1,3,5-trimethylhexahydro-1,3,5-triazine was 3.7mm2.s−1at 20˚C and 3.5mm2.s−1 at 25˚C.  The viscosity was determined on a calibrated LV Brookfield digital viscometer with associated spindle 61 at 100 revolutions per minute.  Two calibrated 76mm immersion thermometers (Brannan and Fisherbrand [305mm length]), of 1˚C graduations from -10˚C to 110˚C) were used to monitor the temperature.  Note: Thermometers were removed from liquid during reading so as not to interfere with dynamics.

Description of key information

Kinematic Viscosity = 3.7 mm²/s (static), OECD 114, Mountford (2010)

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Viscosity:
3.7 mm²/s (static)
at the temperature of:
20 °C

Additional information

A single key study was submitted for this endpoint, conducted in accordance with OECD Guideline 114. The kinematic viscosity was determined to be 3.7 mm²/s (static) (Mountford, 2010).
