Executive summary:

The auto-ignition temperature of the test substance was determined according to EU Method A.15. In a preliminary test the lowest auto-ignition temperature was found to be 402°C. This temperature was further refined in 4 main test series at which the temperature and amount of test item was varied. The lowest auto-ignition temperature that was observed was 395°C. Due to safety reasons and according to the guidelines the lowest measured temperature was round to the next lower number divisable by 5, giving an auto-ignition temperature of 390°C.
