The logKoc of the substance is below 3 and the substance has no cationic properties, thus a low adsorption potential is indicated. Therefore a transfer and adsorption to the sediment compartment is not expected. Therefore, no tests on sediment organisms are provided.
For the classified impurity naphthalene, an EPM derived PNEC for sediment is available and described in the European Risk Assessment Report No. 33 on Naphthalene, CAS-No. 91 -20 -3. In a risk assessment for the naphthalene impurity in NSA no risk has been revealed.
