Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Additional information

Short-term toxicity to aquatic invertebrates Daphnia magna was assessed according to OECD Guideline 202 (Daphnia sp. Acute Immobilisation Test), and EU Method C.2 (Acute Toxicity for Daphnia) and in compliance with GLP. Daphnia were exposed under static conditions to the substance at concentrations of 4.6, 10, 22, 46, and 100 mg/L in freshwater.

The test was performed with 5 daphnia per vessel. For each concentration, the percentage of immobilisation at 24 hours and 48 hours was recorded, and test concentrations were confirmed by HPLC analysis.

After 48 hours NOEC was 22 mg/L and EC50 was 52 mg/L (nominal values).
