First-aid measures

- Following inhalation:

Remove from exposure to fresh air immediately, If not breathing, give artificial respiration. If breathing is difficult, give oxygen. Get medical aid if cough or other symptoms appear.

Fire-fighting measures

- Suitable extinguishing media:

Use a foam, carbon dioxide or Halon extinguisher.

- Advice for fire fighter: As in any fire, wear a self-contained breathing apparatus in pressure-demand, MSHA/NIOSH (approved or equivalent), and full protective gear.

Accidental release measures

- Personal precautions:

Use proper personal protective equipment

- Methods and material for containment and cleaning up: First remove all sources of ignition, then you should dampen the solid spill material with acetone and transfer the dampened material to a suitable container.

Use absorbent paper dampened with acetone to pick up any remaining material. Seal your contaminated clothing and the absorbent paper in a vapor-tight plastic bag for eventual disposal. Solvent wash all contaminated surfaces with acetone followed by washing with a soap and water solution. Do not reenter the contaminated area until its verified that the area has been properly cleaned.

Handling and storage
