Additional information

The substance is readily biodegradable, i.e. biotically instable. Furthermore it is not stable at environmentally relevant pH values due to its DT-50 values of 7 min and 1.2 hours at pH 7 and 8, respectively. The substance is not bioaccumulative. As it is biotically and abiotically instable, its mobile character has no impact on the contamination of ground and surface waters. In conclusion and based on the above, further exposure and risk assessments for surface water, sediment, soil, and groundwater compartments of the environment are not required, according to Annex VII to Annex X of REACH.
