Executive summary:

A study was conducted to determine the viscosity of the read across substance, vinyl toluene. The measured value was obtained from a reliable literature source, the Encyclopedia of Chemical Technology. Under the study conditions, the viscosity of the test substance was established at 0.837 mPa·s at 20°C (Kirk-Othmer, 1997).

Conclusions:
Under the study conditions, the viscosity for the test substance was determined to be 0.90 cP at 25°C.
Executive summary:

A study was conducted to determine the viscosity of the test substance using modelling with the consensus method of the Toxicity Estimation Software Tool (T.E.S.T) of US EPA. The estimated value was a mean of four systemic methods. The test substance was present in the training set and the similarity coefficient indicated a reliable model prediction. Under the study conditions, the derived viscosity for the test substance is determined at 0.90 cP at 25°C (US EPA, 2017).

Description of key information
