oxidising solids
Data waiving:
other justification
Justification for data waiving:
the study does not need to be conducted because there are no chemical groups present in the molecule which are associated with oxidising properties and hence, the classification procedure does not need to be applied
the study does not need to be conducted because the substance is a solid

Description of key information

In accordance with column 2 of REACH regulation Annex VII, the oxidising properties (required in section 7.13) do not need to be tested because calcium silicate is a solid inorganic powder at room temperature incapable of reacting exothermically with combustible material on the base of the chemical structure.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Oxidising properties:
non oxidising
