Additional information

Most of the phys-chem properties are based on in-house data. All data are sufficiently reliable to fulfil the REACH requirements. The test substance does not meet the criteria to be classified dangerous for physical hazards in accordance with the dangerous substance directive 67/548/EEC and the CLP regulation 1272/2008.

Although the substance is a solid at room temperature, the flash point of the melt has been determined since the test item turns into a liquid around slightly elevated temperatures (54°C). The substance is not flammable and does not ignite spontaneously either in contact with water or air. It is also not explosive and does not have oxidising properties. The test item is also poorly soluble in water and very stable in both aqueous and organic media. A noticeable feature is the very low vapour pressure of the test item. It has been demonstrated that radio labelled test item can be synthesised with a high purity and it can therefore be used in toxicological, toxicokinetic and ecotoxicological studies.
