Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Additional information

The short term toxicity potential of the substance to aquatic invertebrates was evaluated according to the OECD Guideline 202. Twenty daphnids (four groups of five)were exposed to different concentrations of the substance, ranging from 0 to 360 mg/l for 24 hours at 20 -22 °C. The test was repeated in triplicate. After 24 h in darkness, the immobilization of the daphnids was measured. The daphnids that were unable to swim for 15 s after gentle stirring were considered immobile.

EC50 (24 h) = 151 ± 13 mg/l

An EC50 at 48 h is experimentally determined; predicted data from ECOSAR v.1.10 show an EC50(48h) of 108.684 mg/l. No hazard is therefore identified for daphnids after 48 hours of exposure.
