Description of key information
In accordance with Column 2 (Specific rules for adaption from Column 1) Annex VII of Regulation (EC) No. 1907/2006, testing for a self ignition temperature (required under point 7.12) may be omitted if the substance has a melting point ≤ 160 °C as it is considered scientifically unjustified. In the submitted study the flash point was determined to be 198 °C, which was found to be higher than the decomposition temperature 180 °C. Based on these results testing has been omitted.
