Lowest onset temp. : 174.39°C

Highest onset temp.: 181.46°C

Conclusions:
The test item has a boiling range of 174 – 181 °C corrected to normal atmospheric pressure (1013 hPa).
Executive summary:

The study was as determined by differential scanning calorimetry according to Regulation EC No. 440/2008 Method A.2., OECD Test Guideline 103 (1995) and GLP.

The test item was weighed into an open glass crucible under an inert atmosphere. Two tests with about 14 mg of the test item were performed. As reference crucible, a glass crucible with aluminum oxide was used. The prepared crucibles (crucible with test item and reference crucible) were placed in the DSC apparatus.

At ambient conditions, the test item is a liquid. Therefore the crucibles were cooled down from ambient temperature to -100 °C with a constant cooling rate of 0.25 K/min under an inert atmosphere. After a waiting period of 30 min at -100 °C, the temperature was increased up to 500 °C at a constant heating rate of 10 K/min. During the heating phase the test item showed an endothermic signal in the temperature range of approx. 30 – 210 °C that can be assigned to the boiling of the test item.

The lowest measured onset temperature is corrected to the standard pressure to be 174.39 °C and the highest onset temperature to be 181.46 °C. As the corrected onset temperatures in both tests deviate more than 0.5 K from their mean value of 177.93 °C, the test item has a boiling range of 174 – 181 °C. No further thermal effects were observed up to the test end temperature of 500 °C.

The test item has a boiling range of 174 – 181 °C corrected to normal atmospheric pressure (1013 hPa).
