First-aid measures

The substance is not hazardous.

Measures below are recommended as a general rule.

General notes:

Never induce vomiting, or give anything to drink or eat. Seek medical advice if you feel unwell. If the victim is unconscious, place in the recovery position.

Following inhalation:

Bring the victim to fresh air and protect from cold. Seek medical advice in case of respiratory difficulty, unease or persistent headaches.

Following skin contact:

Remove contaminated or soaked clothes, wash contaminated body parts with water.

Following eye contact:

Rinse immediately and thoroughly with water, holding eyelids open; seek specialized medical advice in case of persistent redness or irritation.

Following ingestion:

Rinse mouth with water. Seek medical advice and show the container or label.

Notes for the doctor:

Treat symptomatically.

Most important symptoms and effects, both acute and delayed:

No specific immediate or delayed effects are anticipated from acute or chronic exposure. Ionic imbalance may be observed if high quantities are absorbed.

Indication of any immediate medical attention and special treatment needed:       

No particular measures required. Eyewash station recommended at the workplace.

Fire-fighting measures

Extinguishing media:

Suitable: Powder, foam or CO2 extinguisher. Adapt according to other products stored beside.

No particular precautions required. Collect by sweeping and/or suction; remaining traces can be rinsed with water. Do not reuse. Do not reintroduce into the original container. Collect into a suitable and labelled container, and treat as waste.
