First-aid measures

Eye: Rinse immediately with plenty of water, also under the eyelids, for at least 15 minutes. If eye irritation persists, consult a specialist.

Skin: Wash off with warm water and soap. Immediate medical attention is not required. Remove and wash contaminated clothing before re-use.

Ingestion: Do NOT induce vomiting. Clean mouth with water and then drink plenty of water. If symptoms persist, call a physician. Never give anything by mouth to an unconscious person.

Inhalation: Move to fresh air. If breathing is difficult, give oxygen. If symptoms persist, call a physician.

Notes to physician: Treat symptomatically.

Fire-fighting measures

Suitable extinguishing media: Use extinguishing measures that are appropriate to local circumstances and the surrounding environment.

Unsuitable extinguishing media: Do not use a solid water stream as it may scatter and spread fire.

Special hazards arising from the substance or mixture: Thermal decomposition can lead to release of irritating gases and vapours. Runoff may pollute waterways.

Advice for fire fighters: As in any fire, wear self-contained breathing apparatus and full protective gear.

Accidental release measures

Personal precautions, protective equipment and emergency procedures: Ensure adequate ventilation. Avoid contact with skin, eyes and clothing. Use personal protective equipment.

Environmental precautions: Do not flush into surface water or sanitary sewer system, avoid released into the environment.

Methods and materials for containment and cleaning up

Method for containment: Prevent further leakage or spillage if safe to do so. Cover powder spill with plastic sheet or tarp to minimize spreading.

Methods for cleaning up: Clean up promptly by scoop or vacuum. Avoid dust formation. Keep in suitable, closed containers for disposal.

Handling and storage

Precautions for Safe Handling

Advice on safe handling: Handle in accordance with good industrial hygiene and safety practice. Avoid contact with skin, eyes and clothing. Do not breathe vapours/dust. Ensure adequate ventilation. Wear personal protective equipment. Wash thoroughly after handling.

Hygiene measures: When using do not smoke, eat or drink. Wash thoroughly with soap and water after handling and before eating, drinking, or using tobacco. Avoid contact with skin, eyes and clothing.

Exposure controls / personal protection

Exposure Controls

Engineering measures: Apply technical measures to comply with the occupational exposure limits. Where reasonably practicable this should be achieved by the use of local exhaust ventilation and good general extraction.

Personal Protective Equipment

Eye protection: Tightly fitting safety goggles.

Hand protection: Rubber/latex/neoprene or other suitable chemical resistant gloves.

Skin and body protection: Long sleeved clothing, Protective gloves.

Respiratory protection: When workers are facing concentrations above the exposure limit they must use appropriate certified respirators, When using a mask or half mask :, Respirator with combination filter for vapor/particulate (EN 141), Type A/P2.

Other protective equipment: Ensure that eyewash stations and safety showers are close to the workstation location.

Hygiene Measures

Handle in accordance with good industrial hygiene and safety practice.

Environmental Exposure Controls

The product should not be allowed to enter drains, water courses or the soil.

Stability and reactivity

Chemical stability: Stable under recommended storage conditions.

Possibility of hazardous reaction: Hazardous polymerization does not occur. No hazardous reactions under normal processing.

Incompatible materials: Strong oxidizing agents. Strong acids.

Hazardous decomposition products: Carbon oxides, sulfur oxides, tin oxides.

Disposal considerations

Waste Treatment Methods

Waste from residues / unused products: Dispose of in accordance with local regulations.

Contaminated packaging: Empty containers should be taken to an approved waste handling site for recycling or disposal.
