Fire-fighting measures

Suitable extinguishing media: water spray jet, foam

Extinguishing media that must not be used for safety reasons. Full water jet,,carbon dioxide,  dry powder

Special protective equipmen for firefighting: Use self-contained breathing apparatus

Special hazards arising from the substance or mixture:

Carbon dioxide (CO2), Nitrogen oxides (NOx), Sulphur oxides

Accidental release measures

Personal precautions, protective equipment and emergency procedures: Wear suitable personal protective equipment.

Environmental precautions: Do not allow entry to drains, water courses or soil

Methods and material for containment and cleaning up:

Take up mechanically. Dilute remainder with water and take up with absorbent material (eg sawdust, sand, universal binder)
