Additional information

In accordance with 'ECHA Guidance on information requirements and chemical safety assessment Chapter R.7a: Endpoint specific guidance', waiving of elements of the requirements is possible based on both a consideration of structural alerts and experience with handling and use of the substance.

The flash point of the liquid substance was determined to be 162.1 deg C. According to the CLP Regulation 1272/2008/EC (Annex I - Section 2.6) a flammable liquid means a liquid having a flash point of not more than 60 deg C, thus the above substance is not flammable.

No structural alerts are present in the molecule to suggest a concern for flammability and experience with use of the substance indicates that it is not flammable on contact with air (pyrophoric) or on contact with water.

Justification for classification or non-classification

Classification as flammable is not justified by experience with manufacture, handling or and use of the substance.
