Description of key information

A non-GLP study equivalent to OECD guideline 202, is available on the acute toxicity to the freshwater inverterbrate Daphnia magna.  In addition GLP study in the marine species Crangon crangon and Acartia tonsa are available for dipropylene glycol methyl ether.

Additional information

The toxicity was tested on Daphnia magna (freshwater) and the two marine species, Crangon crangon (marine brown shrimp) and Acartia tonsa (a marine copepod) . For all species the toxicity is low with EC50 >1000 mg/L.
