Executive summary:

The auto-ignition temperature of aluminium chloride hydroxide sulphate (as aqueous solution) was investigated according to EC/DIN/IEC guidelines, using commercially available apparatus. No auto-ignition was observed up to the maximum testing temperature of 650°C.

No particular hazard is anticipated in normal conditions of storage and use.

Additional information

A fully reliable experimental study, conducted according to a recognized EC/DIN/IEC method and under GLP, is available. It is therefore considered as a key study. As no auto-ignition was observed in test conditions, no key data can be retained for purpose of CSA.

This parameter is not relevant for classification according to CLP criteria, however the information is useful regarding potential additional fire hazard.
