Description of key information

The surface tension of the test item was determined using the ring method according to EU method A.5 and OECD guideline 115. The surface tension of the test item at 20 °C is 48.62 mN/m. The test item is considered to have surface-active properties

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Surface tension:

Additional information

The surface tension of the test item was measured with the OECD ring method according to EU method A.5 (OECD guideline 115). The mean surface tension of six measurements at 20 °C is 48.62 mN/m.

Due to the fact that the surface tension is lower than 60 mN/m, the test item has surface-active properties.
