Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

48 h
Dose descriptor:
EC50
Effect conc.:
< 0.1 mg/L
Nominal / measured:
nominal
Conc. based on:
test mat.
Basis for effect:
mobility
Details on results:
At the end of the test period of 48h, 90% immobilisation was observed in solutions prepared at 0.1 and 1 mg/L, while all daphnids exposed to concentrations of 10 and 100mg/L were immobilised
Results with reference substance (positive control):
none
Reported statistics and error estimates:
not specified
Validity criteria fulfilled:
yes
Conclusions:
0345N is acutely toxic to the freshwater crustacean daphnia magna at concentrations prepared at 0.1mg/L and higher. hence the 48h EC50 is below nominally 0.1mg/L

Description of key information

Two non-GLP screening test studies have been performed to assess the possible toxicity of the test

substance to fresh water crustaceans.

No analytical information is available to verify the concentration of the test substance in solution.

As the test substance is very poorly water soluble it is proposed to conduct a long term aquatic toxicity

test to fulfil this endpoint as indicated in the REACH guidance

Key value for chemical safety assessment
