Endpoint:
short-term toxicity to aquatic invertebrates
Type of information:
experimental study
Adequacy of study:
key study

Rationale for reliability incl. deficiencies:
guideline study
Qualifier:
according to guideline
Guideline:
OECD Guideline 202 (Daphnia sp. Acute Immobilisation Test)
GLP compliance:
yes (incl. QA statement)

Details on sampling:
Analytical samples were taken from all test item concentrations and control at test start and 24 hours (fresh) after 48 hours from aged solutions. Samples (50 mL) were stored deep-frozen (≤ - 18 °C) until analysis. In the analytical laboratory, the samples were thawed to ambient temperature, mixed with 50 mL acetonitrile and shaken well using a flatbed shaker for 15 min. If necessary, the samples were further diluted with acetonitrile/test medium (1:1, v/v) prior to analysis by HPLC-MS/MS.
Vehicle:
no
