Additional information

The substance is not lipophilic, has a very low Log Kow value, is not considered bioaccumulative, has a high solubility in water and did not show a strong classification for the environment. On the basis of the described data a secondary poisoning is therefore not expected.

Conclusion on classification

On the basis of the available data on the aquatic toxicity of the substance (96h-LC50 for fish 934 mg/L; 48h-EC50 for daphnia = 700 mg/L; 72h-EC50 for algae 72h-ErC50 = 43.1 mg/L, and the chronic value of the algae being the most sensitive species > 10 mg/L (72h-EC10 = 13.5 mg/L)), the substance has not to be classified for environmental hazard in accordance with Commission Regulation (EU) No 286/2011 of 10 March 2011 (2nd Amendment of CLP Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008).
