Administrative data

First-aid measures

Inhalation : Assure fresh air breathing.
Skin Contact : Take off contaminated clothing and clean skin thoroughly with water and soap.
Eye Contact : Rince thoroughly with plenty of water for at least 10 minutes.
Swallowing : Nausea. Clear mouth, nose and throat. Seek as soon as possible medical assistance.

Fire-fighting measures

Fire Hazard : Small fire hazard.
Extinguishing media : Do not extinguish with water.

Accidental release measures

Personal protection : Wear PVC-gloves and goggles to contain spills.
Environmental precautions : Prevent the product contaminating soil and groundwater. Prevent the product entering sewers and waterways.
Cleaning / recovery : Large spillages : contain and pump into containers. Small spillages : absorb on sand, earth... and collect into containers for disposal. Disposal should always comply with local, national or EC regulations.

Handling and storage

Handling : Good industrial and personal hygiene practice should be followed. No eating and drinking in the workplace. Ensure adequate ventilation.
Storage : Storage temperature : +40 °C. Protect from frost and direct sunlight. Drums and bottles : material is plastic or steel. Bulk tanks : stainless steel,
aluminium, plastic coated materials... Clean bulk tanks periodically to prevent accumulation of bacteria.
Specific use : Use the best available methods of handling the product whereby the employees enjoy maximum safety and whereby the environment is minimally affected.

No danger in normal ambient conditions. There are no specific limiting values for professional exposure. There are no biological limiting values.
- Occupational exposure controls :
Respiratory protection: not applicable.
Hand protection: waterproof PVC-gloves (CE).
Eye protection: goggles or safety glasses (CE).
Skin protection: not applicable.
- Environmental exposure controls :
The product must not be discharged directly into drains or waterways without treatment.

Stability and reactivity

Conditions to avoid : Stable under the recommended storage conditions.
Materials to avoid : Avoid strong acids and materials which react with water.
Hazardous decomposition products : COx, NOx and possibly other toxic vapours in case of fire.

Disposal considerations

This product must not be discharged directly into drains or waterways without treatment. All product disposal should comply with local, national or EC regulations.
