Handling and storage

Precautions for safe handling: avoid contact with skin and eyes. Avoid creating dust and spray drift in the air. Adopt adequate ventilation in places where dust develop.

Conditions for safe storage, including any incompatibilities:  Store in a cool place. Keep container tightly closed in a dry and well ventilated. Keep away from sources of heat, sparks and flame.

Exposure controls / personal protection

Components with exposure limits :TWA = 20-50 mg/m3

Exposure controls -Appropriate engineering controls : Handle in accordance with good industrial hygiene and safety practice. Wash hands before breaks and at the end of the workday.

Personal protection: eye/face-visor and goggles. Use eye protection devices tested and approved according to the requirements of appropriate technical standards as NIOSH (us) or EN 166 (EU)

Skin protection: protective gloves selected must meet the requirements of the EU Directive 89/686/EEC and the standard EN 374 deriving therefrom. Manipulate with gloves on. Gloves must be checked before being used. Use a proper technique for removing gloves to avoid skin contact with this product dispose of contaminated gloves after use in accordance with current legislation and good laboratory practices. Wash and dry your hands.

Physical protection: full protective suit chemical resistant,  protective gear type must be selected according to the concentration and quantity of a hazardous substance in the workplace.

Respiratory protection : For low exposure levels use respirators for dusts of type P95 (US) or P1 (EU EN 143). Higher security levels to use respirators cartridges of type OV/AG/P99 or ABEK-type P2 (EU EN 143). Use respirators and components tested and approved by the appropriate standards bodies, such as the NIOSH (USA) CEN (EU).

Disposal considerations
