First-aid measures

Description of first aid measures:

In all cases of doubt, or when symptoms persist, seek medical attention.

In case of inhalation:

If breathed in, move person into fresh air. If not breathing, give artificial respiration.

In case of skin contact:

Wash off with soap and plenty of water.

In case of eyes contact:

Flush eyes with water as a precaution.

In case of ingestion:

Never give anything by mouth to an unconscious person. Rinse mouth with water.

Most important symptoms and effects, both acute and delayed:

The product is not classified as harmful to human health effect.

Indication of any immediate medical attention and special treatment needed:

If skin irritation or rash occurs, get medical advice/attention.

Fire-fighting measures

Suitable extinguishing media: Use extinguishing agents appropriate for surrounding fire.

Unsuitable extinguishing media:  Not available.

Special hazards arising from the substance or mixture :In case of fire, the following can be released: Carbon oxides.

Special fire fighting methods and special protective actions for fire-fighters:                   

Fire-fighters should wear appropriate protective equipment and self-contained breathing apparatus (SCBA) with a full face-piece operated in positive pressure mode.

Exposure controls / personal protection

Exposure controls:

Appropriate engineering controls: Use process enclosures, local exhaust ventilation or other engineering controls to keep worker exposure to airborne contaminants below any recommended or statutory limits.

Individual protection measures, such as personal protective equipment:

Eye/face protection: Use equipment for eye protection tested and approved under appropriate government standards such as NIOSH (US) or EN 166(EU).

Hand protection: Handle with gloves. Gloves must be inspected prior to use. Use proper glove removal technique (without touching glove's outer surface) to avoid skin contact with this product. Dispose of contaminated gloves after use in accordance with applicable laws and good laboratory practices. Wash and dry hands.

Body protection: Impervious clothing, The type of protective equipment must be selected according to the concentration and amount of the dangerous substance at the specific workplace.

Respiratory protection: Respiratory protection not required. For nuisance exposures use type OV/AG (US) or type ABEK (EU EN 14387) respirator cartridges. Use respirators and components tested and approved under appropriate government standards such as NIOSH (US) or CEN (EU).

Thermal hazards: Wear suitable protective clothing to prevent heat.

Environmental exposure controls: Avoid discharge into the environment. According to local regulations, Federal and official regulations.

Stability and reactivity

Reactivity: The substance is stable under normal storage and handling conditions.

Chemical stability: Stable at room temperature in closed containers under normal storage and handling conditions.

Possibility of hazardous reactions: No dangerous reactions known.

Conditions to avoid: Incompatible materials.

Incompatible materials: Strong oxidizing agents.

Hazardous decomposition products: Carbon oxides.

Disposal considerations

Waste treatment methods:       The material should be disposed of by incineration in a chemical incinerator in compliance with national and regional requirements.

Product / Packaging disposal: If empty container retains product residues, all label precautions must be observed. Return for reuse or dispose according to national or local regulations.
