Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

The submission substance is acutely non-toxic to Daphnia magna:
NOEC(48h) / EC0(48h) >= 100 mg/L
EC50 (48h) > 100 mg/L

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Additional information

In an acute toxicity test on Daphnia magna according to OECD 202 and EU-method C.2 performed as a limit test (reliability category 1) neither for the treatment with the submission substance nor for the control group any immobilized daphnia had been observed. Thus the following effect values were determined for the submission substance: EC50 (daphnia, 48h) > 109 mg/L nominal concentration (corresponding to 100 mg/L after correction for water content); EC0 / NOEC (daphnia, 48h) >= 109 mg/L nominal concentration (corresponding to 100 mg/L after correction for water content);
