Test solutions

Vehicle:
yes
Details on test solutions:
PREPARATION AND APPLICATION OF TEST SOLUTION (especially for difficult test substances)
- Method: WAF (wateraccomodated fractions) due to insolubility of the test material
- Eluate: water
-- Concentration of vehicle in test medium (stock solution and final test solution(s) or suspension(s) including control(s)): To prepare the WAF, 0.1001 g of the test item was weighted onto a watch glass. Dilution water (approximately 100 mL) was used to rinse the test item off the watch glasss into a 2 L beaker which contaied approximately 600 mL of dilution water. The total volume was brought to 1 L in the beaker using dilution water. A WAF control was prepared in teh sme way with the xeception that no test item was added to the 1 L of dilution water.

Applicant's summary and conclusion

Validity criteria fulfilled:
yes
Conclusions:
Based on the nominal concentrations of the test material, using both Specific Growth Rate and Cell Yield, the estimated 72h IC50, IC25 and the LOEC (Lowest Observed Effect Concentration) were > 100 mg/L.
The NOEC (No Observed Effect Concentration) was 100 mg/L.
