First-aid measures

Emergency measure - Eyes: Rinse with plenty of water

Emergency measure - Skin: Wash with soap and water

Emergency measure - Ingestion: Seek medical attention

Fire-fighting measures

Recommended extinguishing agent: Combustion products may contain carbon, nitrogen and

sulphur oxides together with some soot and hydrogen

chloride gas. Suitable extinguishing agents are water,

foam, carbon dioxide and dry powder.

Accidental release measures

Emergency measures in case of spillage: Collect spilt material by mechanical means. If recycling is

not possible, dispose of at a controlled landfill or by

incineration.

Handling and storage

Handling: Ensure all filling places have exhaust ventilation. When

been observed for the notified substance, avoid inhalation

of dust.

Disposal considerations

Industry - Possibility of recovery/recycling: Recycling for reuse is possible

Industry - Possibility of neutralisation: Not applicable

Industry - Possibility of destruction: controlled discharge: The substance maybe disposed of at a controlled landfill

site.

Industry - Possibility of destruction - incineration: The substance may be incinerated at an approved facility.

Waste gas treatment to remove nitrogen and sulphur oxides

and hydrogen chloride gas should be used.

Public at large - Possibility of recovery/recycling: Recovery from dyed material is not possible

Public at large - Possibility of neutralisation: Not applicable

Public at large - Possibility of destruction: controlled discharge: Articles dyed with the substance may be disposed of as

household waste.
