First-aid measures
Emergency measure - Inhalation: Remove to fresh air. If necessary seek medical advice.
Emergency measure - Eyes: Rinse with buffer solution or water. Seek the advice of an
occulist.
Emergency measure - Skin: Wash affected skin with warm water and soap. If necessary
seek medical advice.
Emergency measure - Ingestion: Drink plenty of water, do not induce vomiting, seek medical
advice or consult a poison information centre.
Fire-fighting measures
Recommended extinguishing agent: water, CO2, dry chemical, sand
Product arising from burning: CO/CO2, water, stannane oxide.

Protective equipment: Usual protection clothing for the fire fighting of organic
substances.
Accidental release measures
Emergency measures in case of spillage: Adsorb with adsorbend material, e.g. sand or sawdust. Label
containers "contains trioctylstannane hydride" When
collecting and discharging the substance wear gloves and if
necessary rubber boots.
A respiratory mask with particlefilter P2 is recommended.
Handling and storage
Handling: The product should be refilled only in closed splash-proof
systems.
Wear gloves (from Neopren or Latex), goggles, respiration
protection resp. particlefilter mask P2 when the MAK-value
(0,1 mg/m3 als Sn) is exceeded. Use only in room with good
ventilation.
Storage: Store cool under inert gas in well ventilated rooms. Store
exclusively in unbreakable HDPE-containers or teflon coated
steel containers. Keep containers well closed and safeguard
them against falling. Avoid spilt product on/outside the
containers.
