First-aid measures
Emergency measure - Inhalation: Remove patient to fresh air. Symptomatic treatment.
Emergency measure - Eyes: Rinse immediately with plenty of water for at least 15
minutes.
Emergency measure - Skin: Wash immediately with water. If irritation develops seek
medical advice.
Emergency measure - Ingestion: Seek medical attention.
Fire-fighting measures
Recommended extinguishing agent: Water fog, carbon dioxide, "alcohol" foam or dry powder may
be used.
Product arising from burning: Products of combustion may contain oxides of carbon.

Protective equipment: Protective clothing and a self-contained breathing apparatus
should be worn.
Accidental release measures
Emergency measures in case of spillage: Wear suitable protective clothing (see 2.3.1). Absorb spill
using a suitable inert material and transfer to suitable
containers and dispose of in accordance with local
regulations. Do not let spill or washings enter sewers and
waterways. Wash spill site with water.
Handling and storage
Handling: Observe the usual precautions for handling organic
chemicals. Avoid contact with skin, eyes and clothing. Wear
suitable protective clothing, safety goggles with side
shields and neoprene gloves. Ensure adequate ventilation.
Storage: Store in upright tightly closed 1 gallon, 5 gallon or 55
gallon epoxy-lined steel containers.
Store in a cool, dry place away from acids and oxidisers.
Packaging of the substance and or preparation: 1, 5 and 55 gallon epoxy-lined steel containers should be
used.
