Fire-fighting measures

Recommended extinguishing agent: Water mist, foam, dry chemical, CO2. The selection depends
on the fire extension and the local circumstances.

Product arising from burning: CO/CO2, H2O, NOx.

Product determined by test: N

Protective equipment: Protection clothes, respiratory protection, depending on the
fire extension and local circumstances.

Accidental release measures

Emergency measures in case of spillage: Collect spilt product with licensed industrial vacuum
cleaner and fill into label containers. Avoid respiration of
the dusts and skin contact. If necessary moisten the spilt
product before collecting. Personal collecting the substance
should provide the precaution measures described in section
2.3.1.

Discharge according to the local and administrative
regulations, e.g. by incineration.

Handling and storage

Handling: Obey the usual measures when using chemicals.

Wear appropriate protective clothes, gloves and goggles.

Avoid dust formation during filling/refilling processes and
provide measures against electrostatic charging. Provide
good ventilation. If no sufficient ventilation can be
achieved a respiratory protection is necessary. Keep away
from foodstuff and tobacco.

Storage: Store dry in closed containers and at room temperature. Keep
storerooms according to the principles of good industrial
hygiene. Close opened containers tightly.

Avoid product residues outside the containers.
