First-aid measures

Emergency measure - Inhalation: Remove patient to fresh air.  Symptomatic treatment.

Emergency measure - Eyes: Rinse immediately with water for 15 minutes.  Seek medical

attention.

Emergency measure - Skin: Wash with soap and water.  If irritation develops, seek

medical attention.

Emergency measure - Ingestion: Seek medical attention.

Fire-fighting measures

Recommended extinguishing agent: Water spray, carbon dioxide or dry powder may be used.

Product arising from burning: Products of combustion may contain oxides of carbon,

nitrogen and sulfur together with some soot.

Protective equipment: A self-contained breathing apparatus should be worn.

Accidental release measures

Emergency measures in case of spillage: Wear suitable protective clothing, see 2.3.1. Sweep or scoop

up spill and transfer to suitable containers.  Clean spill

site thoroughly.

Handling and storage

Handling: Observe the usual precautions for handling organic

chemicals.  Protective clothing, eye protection and

impervious gloves should be worn.  Use engineering controls

to minimise dust concentrations or use an approved dust

respirator.  Wash thoroughly after handling.

Storage: Store in sealed containers in a cool place.

Packaging of the substance and or preparation: The substance will be imported in sealed, poly-lined fibre

containers.
