Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Description of key information

In the absence of experimental absorption data and in accordance with the ECHA Guidance R.8 (2012) a default value of 50% for dermal and oral absorption will be used in the derivation of DNELs.

In the absence of experimental absorption data, a worst case absorption percentage of 100% has been taken into account for the inhalation route.

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Bioaccumulation potential:
low bioaccumulation potential
Absorption rate - oral (%):

Absorption rate - inhalation (%):

Additional information

Experimental data on toxicokinetics of Y-15099 were not available. The toxicokinetic behaviour was assessed by expert judgement:

Absorption:

Y-15099 is predicted to be bioavailable.

Distribution:

General tissue accumulation is possible, but the potential is expected to be low.

Metabolism:

Y-15099 has been identified as a potent skin sensitizer. This result confirms that the compound or its metabolites or hydrolysis products are capable of binding to proteins.

Excretion:

For the most metabolites biliary excretion is more likely than renal excretion.
