First-aid measures

Emergency measure - Inhalation: Remove person to fresh air. If breathing is difficult get
immediate medical attention.
Emergency measure - Eyes: Immediately flush eyes with large amount of water for at
least 15 minutes and get medical attention.
Emergency measure - Skin: Immediately flush skin with large amounts of water and
remove contaminated clothing. If irritation persists, get
medical attention. Wash contaminated clothing before reuse.
Emergency measure - Ingestion: Get immediate medical attention.

Fire-fighting measures

Recommended extinguishing agent: Water spray, carbon dioxide, or dry chemical.

Product arising from burning: Carbon monoxide and dioxide, hydrogen chloride.

Hazardous polymerisation will not occur.

Protective equipment: Wear full protective clothing, including helmet, self
contained breathing apparatus, bunker coat and pants, bands
around arms, waist and legs, face mask and protective
covering for exposed areas of the head.

Accidental release measures

Emergency measures in case of spillage: Contain spill, cover with sodium carbonate or sodium
bicarbonate. Collect spilled material and clean up residue
with sodium carbonate solution. Place in polyethylene-line
metal container and do not seal for 48 hours. Dispose by
incineration in an approved facility.

Handling and storage

Handling: Take precautions to avoid eye and skin contact with
substance. Wear suitable protective gloves, clothing and
eyewear to prevent contact. Use with appropriate local
exhaust ventilation at transfer points and open containers.
If exhaust ventilation is not adequate, use appropriate
respiratory protection. Avoid breathing of dust. do not
ingest.

Storage: Store in a cooler (<16°C) and keep container closed when not
in use.
