First-aid measures

Emergency measure - Inhalation: Move to area of fresh air and if signs of discomfort, seek

medical advice.

Emergency measure - Eyes: Rinse immediately with plenty of water for 15 minutes. If

signs of irritation or discomfort, seek medical advice.

Emergency measure - Skin: Remove contaminated clothing and wash skin with soap and

water. If signs of discomfort, seek medical advice.

Emergency measure - Ingestion: Seek medical advice

Fire-fighting measures

Recommended extinguishing agent: Agents such as dry foam, water foam or water fog, carbon

dioxide are acceptable.  Use appropriate medium for the

underlying cause of fire and surrounding environment. The

material is not reactive with water, but as with other

liquids with a low water solubility, water is not

recommended.

Product arising from burning: Oxides of nitrogen and carbon and hydrogen cyanide.

Incomplete combustion (with lack of oxygen) may lead to the

formation of organic volatiles, carbon and nitrogen

products.

Product determined by test: N

Protective equipment: Full protective equipment is recommended including breathing

apparatus, suitable gloves, goggles and overalls.

Accidental release measures

Emergency measures in case of spillage: Absorb onto sand, sawdust or other suitable material and

dispose of as chemical waste in suitably labelled

containers.

Refer to safety data sheet.

Handling and storage

Handling: Environmental controls and personal protective equipment

such as local exhaust ventilation will be used to prevent

unnecessary contact with skin or eyes.

Typical protective equipment includes overalls, nitrile or

other impermeable gloves and safety glasses.

Storage: Store in original containers.  Ensure the containers are

suitability labelled and kept in a cool, dark and dry place.

The neat substance should be stored at below 0 Deg C and the

final products should be stored at below - 40 Deg C.

Packaging of the substance and or preparation: Neat substance packaged in 3 & 5 gallon plastic pails.

Formulated products packaged in 5,10, 50, or 55 cc
