Guidance on Safe Use
Administrative data
First-aid measures
Inhalation: Remove to fresh air and restore breathing. Eyes: Immediately flush with plenty of water for at least 15
minutes including under eyelids. Get medical attention. Skin: Flush affected skin with soap and water. Ingestion: Give 1 or 2 glasses of milk or water. Do not induce
vomiting. Get medical attention.
Fire-fighting measures
Recommended extinguishing agent: Carbon dioxide, dty chemical, foam, waterfog. Product arising from burning: Carbon oxides, nitrogen oxides, hydrocarbons. Product determined by test: N Protective equipment: Wear self-contained positive pressure breathing apparatus and full firefighting protective clothing.
Accidental release measures
Emergency measures in case of spillage: Eliminate all sources of ignition. Stop leaks. Keep away
from heat or flame. Absorb the material with inert substances (e.g. sand). Collect and put in a disposable
container
Handling and storage
Handling: Avoid contact with eyes, skin and clothing. Avoid breathing
fume or mist. Wash hands and face thoroughly after handling. Wear full protective clothing, safety glasses and impervious gloves. Use local exhaust ventilation when fume
or mist is generated. Storage: Store in a cool and dry place away from heat, sparks and flame. Keep container tightly closed. Packaging of the substance and or preparation: Normal packaging: Netto 210 kg in 220 liter drums.
