Administrative data

First-aid measures

Eyes:
Rince immediately and abundantly with water while separating the eyelids, then consult an ophthalmologist;

Skin:
Wash immediately and abundantly with water all contaminated skin.

Ingestion:
Consult a doctor.

Inhalation:
Transport the victim to a well ventilated area and leave the person to rest.

Fire-fighting measures

Recommended extinguishing agents:
Carbon dioxide, powder, pulverized foam or water (spray).

Products arising from burning or pyrolysis:
Emission of sulphuric oxide and carbon toxic smoke.

Protective equipment:
An isolating respiratory device should be worn due the abundance of smoke and dangerous gasses. The substance oxidizes in air.

Accidental release measures

Individual precautions:
The wearing of individual protection:
Respiration protection: an appropriate anti-dust mask.
Hand protection: plastic, impermeable protective gloves.
Eye protection: security glasses.
Skin protection: appropriate protective clothing.

Other protections:
Working in well ventilated premises. The use of working clothes. The substance should be manipulated in accordance with good industrial hygiene and security procedures.

Specific measures of hygiene:
Hands should be washed after manipulation. Clothes should be changed as soon as they are impregnated and at least at the end of the work.

Precautions for environmental protection:
Should not be discarding in the sewers or in a natural environment.

Cleaning methods:
The substance should be carefully recuperated by mechanical means. All residual water should be eliminated according to legislation.

Destruction of the substance:
All waste and soiled packaging should be destroyed in a specific industrial waste incineration unit, according to current regulations and legislation.

Handling and storage

Handling :
Allow good ventilation. If ventilation is not possible, individual protective respiratory equipment becomes obligatory. Do not eat, drink or smoke during manipulation.

Storage
Technical measures:
Electric material, including lighting should conform to current legislation.

Storage conditions:
Keep in well closed recipients, in a dry place. Avoid out-door storage (exposure to weather).Avoid contact with strong oxidizing products.
