Registration Dossier

Data platform availability banner - registered substances factsheets

Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Administrative data

First-aid measures

Emergency measure - Inhalation: Obtain medical attention.

Emergency measure - Eyes: Remove any solid dust physically then wash the eyes with

copious amounts of water and obtain medical attention

immediately.

Emergency measure - Skin: Remove any solid dust physically then wash affected area

with copious amounts of water.

Emergency measure - Ingestion: Seek medical attention.

Fire-fighting measures

Recommended extinguishing agent: Dry powder, foam or carbon dioxide may be used.

Product arising from burning: Products of combustion may include metal oxide smoke.

Product determined by test: N

Protective equipment: None reported.

Accidental release measures

Emergency measures in case of spillage: Wear dust respirator or mask. Sweep up excess material,

taking care to minimise creating excess dust. The remaining

particles can be vacuumed up. Wash down with sodium

bicarbonate and water.

Handling and storage

Handling: Avoid contact with skin, eyes and clothing. Take off

immediately any contaminated clothing. Do not breathe dust.

Avoid raising a dust cloud. Wear dust respirator, gloves

(PVC, Neoprene or nitrile)), disposable one-piece coated

overall with integral hood, chemical resistant safety boots.

In a confined space wear compressed air breathing apparatus

with full face-piece.

Storage: Storage area should be dry.

Packaging of the substance and or preparation: Catalyst preparations containing the substance are usually

shipped in sealed woven polypropylene sacks (1500 kg) with

inner polypropylene liners to limit moisture exposure.  The

exterior of the sack is further protected by a

shrink-wrapped layer of polyethylene.
