Data platform availability banner - registered substances factsheets
Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.
The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Administrative data
First-aid measures
effects (e.g. dizziness, drowsiness or respiratory
irritation) occur. If not breathing, give artificial
respiration. If breathing is difficult, give oxygen. Seek
medical advice if cough or other symptoms appear.
Emergency measure - Eyes: Immediately wash eyes with plenty of running water for at
least 15 minutes, occasionally lifting the upper and lower
eyelids. Seek medical advice if irritation develops and
persists.
Emergency measure - Skin: Wash affected skin area with plenty of water and soap for at
least 15 minutes while removing contaminated clothing and
shoes. Seek medical advice if irritation develops and
persists.
Emergency measure - Ingestion: Seek medical advice if the victim feels unwell. Wash out
mouth with plenty of water and give 2-4 cupfuls of water or
milk to drink. Never give anything by mouth to an
unconscious person. Induce vomiting.
Fire-fighting measures
Product arising from burning: On burning, this material may generate toxic gases such as
oxides of carbon (monoxide and dioxide).
Product determined by test: N
Protective equipment: In the event of fire, wear a self-contained breathing
apparatus and a chemical protective suit.
Accidental release measures
Wear appropriate personal protective equipment during
cleaning. Avoid contact with eyes and skin. Avoid
inhalation. Keep unnecessary people away, isolate hazard
area and deny entry. Stay upwind and keep out of low areas.
Environmental precautions
Prevent the material from entering surface water or sanitary
sewer system. Do not discharge directly to a water source.
Methods for cleaning up
Stop leak if possible without personal risk. Sweep up into
suitable containers for recovery or disposal.
Handling and storage
area, safety showers and eye wash station near the
workplace. Avoid release to the environment. Wear personal
protective equipment.
Storage: Keep container tightly closed in a cool, dry, well-
ventilated place. Protect the substance from light. Avoid
contact with air and water.
Packaging of the substance and or preparation: Packaging is under arrangement.
