Please be aware that this old REACH registration data factsheet is no longer maintained; it remains frozen as of 19th May 2023.

The new ECHA CHEM database has been released by ECHA, and it now contains all REACH registration data. There are more details on the transition of ECHA's published data to ECHA CHEM here.

Additional information

The marine study was performed with Radiagreen 0980/7831, a 1:1 mixture of Radiagreen RA 7831 (i.e. Radia 7838) and Radiacid 0980 (i.e. Fatty acids, C18 -unsatd., trimers, with CAS 68937 -90 -6 and EC 500 -239 -5), 96h LC50 >1800 mg/l. This mixture is what might actually be marketed in the future, but this mixture is not the substance registered.

Additional freshwater tests were performed with Radia 7838 in order to ensure that it is not acutely toxic to fresh water organisms (<1mg/L), to assist with classification, and because although the use is marine, during production and/or transport there could be possible introduction to the freshwater environment.

The fresh water study was performed using Radia 7838 in carp and showed a 24h LC50 of 88 mg/L, and an estimated 96 h LC50 of 75 mg/L (confidence interval 56 -100). Concentration was measured by TOC content analysis compared to TOC content of parent compound, resulting in calculated measured concentrations.
