Additional information

The substance is a white crystalline powder with a density of 0.99. It does not melt or boil, and no flash point can be established. Upon continued heating, the substance changes its appearance to a amber gelled solid and decomposes at 360oC; it is non-flammable. The vapour pressure is low, at 1.84 x 10-4 Pa at 25oC. It is insoluble in water, although a conservative estimate for risk models is 10 mg/L. As the substance is hydrolytically unstable in water, the log Pow cannot be determined but is estimated to be < 1.7. It is non-hazardous (not explosive, flammable or oxidising).
