The value obtained by the Modified Watson Correlation Calculation Method (<= 2.3 x 10 -9) is much lower than by the Static Method (2.2 Pa).

The Static Method measures the vapour pressure for the entire test substance, i. e. including possibly present minor components. In case these components do have relatively high vapour pressures, their influence on the test result can be large. This seemed to be the case for test substance. The calculated value is therefore expected to represent the most accurate value.
