Description of key information

Key study: Test method according to EEC modified Sturm procedure.
The test substance was not degraded in the modified Sturm test with a negligible proportion (3%) of the theoretical carbon dioxide being evolved in 28 days. On this basis the test substance cannot be classed as "readily biodegradable".

Key value for chemical safety assessment

Biodegradation in water:
under test conditions no biodegradation observed
