First Aid

Inhalation       : Move the exposed person to fresh air at once. Get medical attention if any discomfort continues.

Ingestion       : Rinse mouth thoroughly. Never give liquid to an unconscious person. Get medical attention if any discomfort continues.

Skin Contact       : Remove contaminated clothing. Wash skin thoroughly with soap & water. Get medical attention promptly if any symptoms occur after    

                         washing.

Eye Contact       : Important, immediately rinse with water for at least 15 minutes. Hold eyelids apart.Get medical attention if any discomfort continues.

Fire-fighting measures

Extinguishing media :  Use Water spray, alcohol-resistant foam, dry chemical or carbon dioxide.

      

Advice for fire-fighters

Special Fire Fighting Procedures : Water spray should be used to cool containers. Protective equipment for fire fighters. Self contained breathing apparatus and full protective clothing must be worn in case of fire.

Accidental release measures

Personal precautions, protective equipment and emergency procedures : Evacuate the area. Remove sources of Ignition. Ensure suitable personal protection (Including respiratory protection) during removal of spillages in a confined area.

Environmental precautions: Avoid discharge into drains, water courses or on to the ground.

Methods and material for containment and cleaning up : Ventilate well. Avoid dust formation. Collect powder using special dust vacuum cleaner with particle filter or carefully sweep into closed container. Wash contaminated area with water & detergents.

Handling and storage

Precautions for safe handling: Provide good ventilation. Avoid handling which leads to dust formation. Avoid inhalation of dust and contact with skin and eyes. Do not eat, drink or smoke when using the product. Wash hands after handling. Wash contaminated clothing before reuse.

Conditions for safe storage, including any incompatibilities : Store the material in tightly closed original container. Store this container in a cool, dry and well ventilated place. Protect against direct sunlight. Avoid heat, flames & other sources of ignition. Avoid contact with strong oxidisers.
