Results and discussion

Partition coefficient
Type:
log Pow
Partition coefficient:
> 6.5
Remarks on result:
other: Estimated
Details on results:
The retention time of TIS-M is higher than that of the last eluting standard, therefore an accurate value for the partition coefficient could not be given. The estimated partition coefficient value (log Pow) of TIS-M is higher than 6.5 and the extrapolated value is 7.4.

Applicant's summary and conclusion

Conclusions:
The estimated partition coefficient value for TIS-M is higher than 6.5 and the extrapolated partitition coefficient value is 7.4.
Executive summary:

The partition coefficient of the substance was assessed according to EC (A8) and OECD Guideline 117 using a HPLC method. was calibrated using the following reference substances: Thiorea, Ethyl Benzoate, Benzophenone, Diphenylamine, Naphthalene, Phenanthrene, Triphenylamine and DDT. The estimated partition coefficient value for TIS-M is higher than 6.5 and the extrapolated partitition coefficient value is 7.4.
